Meet the chamber board: Connie goodnight

The Chamber is pleased to welcome Connie Goodnight to our Board of Directors. Here's her bio, in her own words.

“I am the Director of Human Resources for Tank Connection and have been with the company since August 2014. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management from Pittsburg State University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University. I also hold certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resource Management.

I have been married to my husband, Gary, for 45 years and we have two children, four grandchildren, and recently one great-grandchild. We love spending time with our family! We also enjoy traveling, visiting friends, and experiencing wineries around the nation. I am a member of our local running group, although I didn't start running until later in life. but have completed many 5k races and achieved a goal of running two half marathons. I am also President of our local PEO Chapter JE and a member of the Stella Wells Auction Committee.

I joined the Parsons Chamber of Commerce Board so that I could help make a difference in our community. I am very pleased with the direction the Chamber is headed and the new and updated events we can provide our community. I am a firm believer in the Jane Goodall quote, 'What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.'"
